He has declared his govt's commitment to build all, (that is ALL) of the announced Games infrastructure in the 5 regions!


I could be going out on a limb here but I'm tipping we shouldn't be counting on those new venues operating by March 2026 or even March 2036 going by Andrews past record on his govts Big Build.

Many callers have rung into ABC radio VIC saying they can't get a builder to build their new homes for love or money so how is Andrews going to build these stadiums?
Geelong Cats FC cannot get their grandstand finished until next year because there are no workers available.
The northern stand was supposed to be finished earlier this year but like so many projects in VIC nothing seems to be happening because builders are not available or building companies have gone broke or the funding has dried up.
Many soccer, netball and swimming facilities were supposed to be built in the five Comm Games regions in the next 2 years but Andrews promises to keep his commitments are wearing thin around regional Victoria.

Andrews has blown the Budget, emptying the coffers by digging tunnels under inner Melbourne suburbs for rail lines commuters will no longer need if they ever did. LABOR/Green Councils have almost banned cars in the city streets. But virtually no money has been allocated for the regions.

The regional roads throughout the State are a parquetry of potholes or is that a smelly pot-pourri of potholes. Either way the local Councils cannot maintain the roads without some State govt assistance.
