Over tha last 10yrs or so i've become interested in the theory (and documentation) that sometimes Cancer can be caused by emotional trauma or emotional angst.

For example, i know of around 5 women who have all have Ovarian cancer, or cancer of the region, who were all sexually abused as children.

The saying goes (not as such but you know what i mean) that if you have been silenced for example, you get cancer of the throat...locking in emotions all your life - like a constipated emo - you get bowel cancer and any other correlation that can be drawn between the body, the cancer and the emotional situation. In that way, it is fairly easy to construe some emotional situation to correlate with a cancer you might have.

For me, in real life it is a Melanoma and i know i am very thick skinned and so there you go.

Its an ugly, but interesting idea.
