It's never ideal to signal a CR when the share price is at a low ebb, that's true, But I don't think that reflects any lack of confidence from management on Cvac efficacy.
It's 6 months until the final CAN003 trial results and they want to get on with the preliminary trials for the alternate cancer indications.
As rational directors, they'd want to be sure that they have sufficient funding to carry out the trials, before making expenditure committment. I thinks that's a sensible precaution.
