Can anyone tell me when a stock gaps down and needs to come back up to fill the gap is it considered filled by a shadow on a candle or does it need to close on the gap eg have a solid candle fill the gap? sorry if i am not explaining myself well does anyone know I have searched all my reference books here but cannot find the answer.
