@Artvandelay01,
I understand your sentiment, but I feel perfectly comfortable with my decision.
Have I sold too early? Probably.
Have I adhered to my personal financial plan and goals? Yes.
Have I increased my cash buffer in the face of an overvalued market? Yes.
I'm not greedy and I don't have a conventional paycheck as I am a full-time investor. When I have a profit -- I tend to take it. I did the same with RBL, 4DS, NZS, SP3, DW8, etc. etc. Most of these stocks continued to rise after I sold and unlike most investors, that doesn't concern me at all. Profit is profit. Everyone has different financial needs/requirements at different stages of their life.
I like the process of finding an undervalued gem, deeply researching it, letting it run for a while and then starting the process again.
50% in one month is better than 500% in 5 years in light of the time value of money.
A valuation of $1 per share for CLB is at the top end of the 'end-game' valuation, it is not the most likely outcome, but it is certainly possible (see below). Good luck.
Cheers,
