The CNOOC area is to the south of Ranges area in Puntland. Part of their concessions are in the area which Range relenquished back to the Puntland goverment. The map which Brantley posted which showed some og CNOOC's concession overlapping with Ranges is incorrect.
I have spoken to the comapny and they have confirmed this.
