One of the most primal pain receptors we have relates to THC's. I have seen "offline" therapies using marihuana which have had positive effects for cancer pain (not related to chemo). A big problem with the current situation we have is no standardised strength across suppliers (even oversease suppliers) and thus potential for overdose/underdose problems. I believe there is room for further study and documentation of uses of marihuana.
