"Well then why not make alcohol illegal?" and coffee, tea, nicotine products, chocolate, caffeine drinks and then why not ban those things that make the body produce changes within the brain like long distance running.
I've heard that limp argument many times; equating the effect of pot on the brain as the same as alcohol.
But then it's all down to the social conscious of a society and to the individual.
