watso picked up a couple of cans of mackerel from the reject shop (- from memory 125g) at $1 each - and in a spicy tomato sauce.
the fish tasted ok - so watso thought he would go and buy some more - but the mackerel were not biting - but watso hooked onto some tuna - which were biting well.
watso caught 60 cans of johnwest tuna slices at 50c each - but the good bait was that if a savvy shopper spent $30 - then get $5 off - ie so watso hauled in 60 cans for only $25.
then watso did a bit of wheeling and dealing - and sold 10 cans to the old guy up the street for $5...
mmmm - just got the calculator out - and it seems that watso ended up with 50 cans for a cost of $20
