As per update no.7, the reached 1550 on the end of 24/10. The lack of details is within reasonable limits due to time lag on digestable market information. Drilling =/= full analysis of result, nor are we expecting oil to gash up the whole just like that. I'm not sure what you mean a 'well-worded' announcement would be. The intent of this announcement was for the definite success of the drilling operation. I'd be more wary of any overly positive announcement on inferred result already priced, than a vague report on a possibility that market has not yet priced.
