Getting Canning Basin oil and gas to market is going to be a very difficult task-if it can be done at all. Many of the teams currently working there have runs on the board from other projects. However history is not on their side.
And there are other factors at work. I invite you all to read a report " Liquid Fuels Vulnerability Assessment" 2011 by ACIL Tasman: carried out for the Feds--Department of Resources Energy and Tourism. Anyone reading this report will give one an idea as to how important Canberra regards domestic self sufficiency. Don't expect any big favours !
