My figures are from Tyro 2022 Annual report …I'm approximating and rounding up numbers and percentages.

All I'm saying is that the definition of shareholder's is being misused to deceive the public.
The general perception from the general public reading the media commentary is that the masses of shareholders are in favour.

It is a clever way to manipulate the public with the aid of some biased media business to push the GREEN AGENDA.

MCB has pulled that stunt on AGL!
In AGL case, shareholders with less than 10,000 shares made up about 91% or 144,000 holders

Maybe the reporting should be along the line, that a minority of shareholders with the largest holdings are trying to dictate to BOD that their wishes shouldn’t be ignored.

My understanding is that a listed public started off as, 'one vote per shareholder'….that is the origin of 'show of hand'.

With businesses pressure and abetted by the gov, a listed public company has become adulterated to such a level that it has become a pseudo proprietary company that benefits the T20; simply ignoring the inputs from mum and dad investors.

Just to reiterate once again, these rich wankers have greater options in business entities that they can invest in, which affords them to buy the rights to be heard and control the direction of a company.

Retail investors basically only have a listed public companies to make a few bucks.

One of the crappie reasons for introducing poll voting was that the more u invest in a company the more likely u will monitor the BOD and management team outcomes.

This is no longer the case as many of the T20 are simply abusing this privilege to the detriment of the majority of the shareholders.

It is these minority shareholders with large holding that now need monitoring for bad behaviour!
