I wonder if DOW has gone quiet to see if there is a legal case lodged in the courts against the coal development in QLD. There maybe a timeframe to lodge and they are sitting it out. I am only guessing.
I tend to prefer AIA (Auckland Airport) to AIZ (Air New Zealand)....and yes Simon is a good operator in that space although from memory Simon was Auckland airport rather than Air NZ, could be wrong. He has gone back into the Telco space again I heard but I cant remember where, its not back into TCNZ I don't think.
The NZ market is pretty sleepy compared to the AU market but there are some good home grown nuggets for long holders including AIA, POT, SCL, ATM, FSF and for a punt what Chris Castle is trying to do with CRP and as mentioned if the GSB O&G play is your thing then SPN (Port of Bluff). Keep in mind NZ has no capital gains tax for local residents and income tax structure is slightly different to AU.
