But this is not really a canoe, which is an open boat and propelled with a single bladed paddle.
The beauty of paddling a canoe on a quiet lake almost silently, exploring the wildlife and getting up nice and close, can be almost nirvana.
The world can seem a more pleasant and relaxed place while in your canoe. I found this 2 minute film clip that says it all.
