    Probably true, but it was a 2 inch punch and the ref didn't know it caused a broken jaw, so a send-off in those circumstances is unlikely, especially if the ref didn't get a good look at it. While not in any way condoning it, you'd have to agree it was the most effective play from any NSW player on the night.
