You see, the problem is, that Goose Gould and the like consider themselves to be the 'real' authority in league. And the problem there is, that they're such twits, they think that any genuine attempt to clean up cowardly play, is a threat to the 'toughness' of the game....and they don't want to know about it.
They're too silly to realise that a hit like Inglis copped last night can kill. It has in the past, and will again one day.
As for any cheap shot that Cameron Smith made, give him the same treatment. Cheap shots are cheap shots and have no place on a football field. Leave them up to Greg Bird, Les Boyd and the likes.
Twits like Gould need to realise that for as long as cheap shots are trivialised by the degree of punishment, there will always be dogs that will use them.
