    Never going to affect you unless all those conditions were met.
    CrowdStrike is available on Windows and Mac systems. They just wouldn't have been affected by this rogue update).

    I suspect a lot of people are going to be asking some tough questions come Monday about Windows servers and CrowdStrike alternatives.

    Also, system to keep airports open, emergency services online and hospitals working need to be not the cheapest we can buy. Australian developed systems that don't rely on other countries infrastructure would be ideal...

    This incident ONLY took out Windows systems that had CrowdStrike AND the vendor worked hard to send a fix. It still brough things to a halt!

    Next malicious attack will not play nice.

    Channel 7 and other media stations (eg Triple J) were all affected, so of course they made it news! Now they need to follow up and find out what we are doing to make sure we survive the next "thing".
