We need the PPE to be approved and royalties coming in to really kick things off. Someone earlier suggested that Merial are in no hurry to develop vaccines. I respectfully disagree because Merials decision must have been based on knowledge of approaching sales (ie that the PPE is close to passing FDA reg.), they are in the business of making money after all. However there could also have been an ulterior motive, in that Merial now has sole access to IMUs FAV technology, which puts on hold Teva's development of IMU coccidiosis vaccine, which looked very promising. Having said that I am confident (and hoping like hell) that registration and sales are close. This is all pure amateur speculation btw.
