If you hate it so much, why do you keep writing them cheques? I would assume you are a smart fella and you see financial benefit in doing it. If that is the case, whats all this bitchn about?
I support land tax, i think it is a fantastic idea from a government revenue point of view. Think of how much more consistent the revenue stream would be when they take a little every year rather than wait for transactions to occur to generate revenue. You wont get large fluctuation in revenue caused by booms and bust cycles.
