What about the Gillard Government did to sole parents earlier this year, transfered many of them straight to the dole ($100 plus cut in payments)? "I can't recall this in voting promises." What about the carbon tax (Gillard promised she wouldn't introduce one)? Its OK to put forward a balanced view, but getting sick of every Laborite putting such a slanted one eyed view on everything. They're already bagging Abbott at every opportunity. Irrespective of who I vote for, I give every govt. a chance. In politics, both sides break promises for one reason or another, they often treat us like fools. Clearly the Laborities on here are still licking their wounds and haven't realised they actually lost government.
