Money as debt is, of course, a psychopathic racket, but just as bankers can create trillions of dollars with the press of a button, they can also erase trillions with the press of another button. After all, who owns the debts, but the same bankers?
They have a nice little debt scam going, a Frankenstein machine which has taken centuries to develop, and I can't see the bankers throwing their hands in the air and letting their quadrillion tonne financial steam engine go off the side of the viaduct!
Not while people believe in the sanctity of their debts, not while the bankers are using debt to extract the treasures of the world and the life force of the people.
I don't think we need to be any more terrified of the debt monster than we should be afraid of the inflatable promo gorilla, floating over the local supermarket! One day the hypnotic spells of debt are no longer going to trance the people, and that is the moment the bankers are truly afraid of, for that is the moment there will be seven billion bounty hunters looking for the owners of the debt machine!
NST is still a real company, producing valuable product, and the whole situation can turn on a dime.
Only two months ago we were a hair's breadth away from war in the middle-east. Anyone who can pontificate about the future is either a fool or a Buddha, and even the Buddhas dare not try to predict the future!
What do Eshmun's predictions mean for NST if gold is $US2000, $US5000 an ounce? How then will his stash of depreciating banknotes, hidden under the chicken coop, look in the light of day?
Or maybe Eshmun and Frank Zappa will be right, “Theillusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable tocontinue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes tooexpensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, theywill pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs outof the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of thetheater.”
