I don't watch/trade options much.
Last time I bought was ANZ in a dip last year, I told my friend, I'll double my money here in a month and did it in 2 weeks. 2.5k to 5k less fees. BUT a as the option approached it's expiry date I checked it again (even though I sold it) it went up 32x. My 2.5k could have been a new Tesla3. Next trade I lost 1k and again it went up 3x before it expired. Options are a tricky thing, if I was a full time trader, I would do more options.

Perhaps as someone mentioned in on HC NST thread, there could be a conspiracy theory that the price is manipulated down, and gov to take the mines with a reduced valuation or just by force. If the world or Aus turns to poo, perhaps being valued at such a low price would make it possible for govern to take control of mines or a shift of wealth from middle class and investors to those in far more power. I'm holding. Long term.
