PE's of other insignificant companies include -
- Rio Tinto = 7.8
- BHP = 13
- Woodside = 17
- Santos = 12
- Saracen = 30
- Evolution Mining = 27
NST have been sitting in the PE range of 44-48 in recent weeks.
IMO, NST's share price will correct to a PE of around 20 in the not too distant future. SAR and EVN will be in the same category - they just don't have as far to fall.
I expect opposing views from NST shareholders who choose to hold. Today NST is down near 5% where the likes of EVN and SAR are modestly up. NST have been a great stock - but nothing lasts forever.
