The thrust of my post was that the present market won't value companies on forecasts, they will revert to actuals. The punters are rapidly disappearing. I don't think the March 2020 market is very forward thinking.
Trailing PE is simply the actual PE. NST's forecasts were made in a strong market, and assume a strong POG and a weak AUD. There are a lot of what if's in there? Fortune favours the brave. But, the current market just wants to sell, the limited buyers will be looking for bargains that offer security - reverting to historical performance and stability.
NST's price just cannot be justified on present earnings and my view is the March 2020 market will pull their price back. This is just my opinion - but I have a history of getting more wrong than right out there!
