No it doesnt match the bank statement at all.
If you do a sell today then you have a gain/loss today (this FY), not after T2 on the 1st (next FY) when funds hit your account.
PS: I am the managing partner of tax/advisory practice so I do know what I'm talking about. Also the ATO prefill report will show any indivdual taxpayers trades, and the date the ATO data is also the contract date.
