incorrect, I understood your meaning as you were quite clear.
health services are provided regardless of sexual preference. there are specific services provided on the basis of gender. this is appropriate imo.
it certainly isn't "rocket science" and probably sexual preference might be more appropriately addressed in rocket science..... but medical'/surgical health services are generic because bodies are similar across all demographics.
as I wrote, in psych there is recognition of sexual preference. yet even then the services provided are specific to the individual as mental illnesses are individual.
ergo, no need to over-value sexual preference in terms of provision of care.
