I was going to suggest 1/1 to pull in say $20M even allowing for somewhat shortfall but I was mindful of people loosing their heads with suggesting even 1/2. That kind of move sends a strong message not just to market but to any potential suitors. It gives ANP the power to push forward without reliance on another party, right now it's somewhat stalled and says to market & suitors something like "we have a great pipeline of drug candidates at Phase II / III but we have no funds to do anything about it" source the capital to at least give it a good start with next Phase or even just the ability to do so and that becomes something like "we can & we will push these drugs into Phase III with or without a partner". That whole equilibrium tilts in favour of the company with partnering who wants and who needs changes sides.

I agree, what youre saying makes perfect sense. anp is in what I would call a fair position to raise funds through equity financing. due to the capitalization structures of bio techs short of a partner equity is anps only option right now.
