    1118 [Dow Jones] Ten (TEN.AU) jumps 3.1% to A$3.38 after AFR says major shareholder CanWest has started talks with several private equity groups to gauge interest in TEN. Shares higher on hopes of bidding war for TEN, with speculation News Corp. (NWS.AU) also wants television group, even though NWS executives have played down interest in Aussie TV sector. CanWest has hired Citigroup bankers to review its stake in Ten, along with New Zealand's CanWest MediaWorks. (LMF)
