In the wording of the option agreement it states "that the farm in option can be exercised by FAR at any time before 31 October 2016......In exchange of the farm in option FAR shall fund a 3D survey in Djiffere, estimated to be US$1.1M."
As FAR has completed a 3D survey then I believe the date of 31 October is irrelevant.
This interpretation above is consistent with what FAR said in the article that it had funded and completed a 3D survey and was compliant.
