Cap raise at 50c

Although I feel like the SP can't fall much lower, I am slightly disgruntled at buying into the cap raise under the premise of funding some big jobs.

Does anyone think that they did have imminent tenders at that time or were we just sold into a blow into the wind?

I may have been confused or read into things wrong but it did sound like to me that some big things were ready and likely on the cards.
