I would suggest that Australian Super are needing to sell down equity positions in order to provide liquidity in order to fund the large number of people cashing-in some of their super as per the Govt early acess scheme. I dont read too much into it. They are likely to be doing this across their portfolio and I would imagine that most of the equities they are selling have gone down significantly recently. I guess they probably use some high-brow technical process in order to decide what to sell like throwing a dart at their portfolio and see where it lands! I guess poor Link was hit!
