Hi there Gazman,

I'm pretty sure the intent was for a "dry well", meaning no aquifers intercepted. Please correct me if wrong but doesn't that reduce the costs of bringing a CSG well into production?

Also detracts from any "farmers argument" regarding the water table. In the current climate and until they sort the mess out a well that is "dry" would have to be considered more favorable in the public eye.

On another note, it seems that land access is the story of the moment with the Northern Star only yesterday featuring an article. Making the CSG companies sound like the big gorilla. Lions Way Pipeline getting some resistance but is thought the Goverment will use the law to create easements and allow the pipeline to go ahead. Landowners not happy....

The pipeline will be a big plus for gas transport otherwise ROG's gas (if commercial) is destined for local Power Stations. Would be nice to have both options.........
