who knows what happens behind the scenes, but i dont think they sorted out liberdade quick enough...
needed to lock in an offtake agreement with vale whilst they were super keen and iron ore was still in favour... now vale is cutting back on iron ore production it seems so there is no chance that they will be taking extra ore... and those smelters who said they would take some ridiculous amount of extra ore, probably have their doors closed...
pretty hard to sell an asset when it is a possibility noone will buy its contents...
cap raising is not good in this market... personally i would be suprised they could do it... pretty much every corp finance team are turning away junior miners who are looking to do placements...
