two mining companies raised capital today, RFE and WEC.

Both went up today and in both cases one raised shares at 50c and the other at $1.50. Both at a discount. Both went up today, so lets be a little selective about which company we punish because the market is not punishing companies that are raising capital for a SPECIFIC reason.

I mean what did people think, we all know AGS needs more money prior to Beverley extension before mining commences and revenue starts to flow. Unless of course someone comes around and gifts them a few tens of millions of dollars they dont particularly need.

I remember in the bad ol' days after the 1987 crash mining companies were raisng equity capital just to survive and pay execs. AGS is not in the same position. They will be raising funds (we do not yet know how and from whom) to make sure they have enough funds to meet Quasar's calls and I think its a positive that there are investors out there they can go to raise much needed capital without having to go to banks for loans.
