Thanks @fup. I do recall that slide and was troubled even then as to the lack of transparency around what seemingly went wrong with the LK process to produce Nd and Pr and its alloys at scale. Especially in the context of the apparent success of the process at pilot plant level as reported in late 2020 - see below. It is what it is I guess but why no explanation of the change and the envisaged 50% power savings that went with the IP? They have adopted the LK process for titanium but maybe that's because it's relatively low throughput? I remain concerned, mainly about the lack of clarity/transparency being shown.
