I don't know if there is anycomparisons that can be drawn from the news this morning from Cape Lambert (CFE) and GDA's Walal Downs tenement but they are both coastal pilbara.
Cape L anounced today a 59% in their resource estimate to 1.5 billion tonnes ( av 31.2 % Fe). The sp is up 17% to 38c Themagnetic intensity fig identified soe outlined drill targets. The scale on the figure seems to suggest the tenement is twice the width and about the same length as the GDA tenement at WD. The targets from what I can work out from the magnetic intensity and the identified drill targets seems to show an area of about the same length extending sporadically from the south west of the tenements to the north east, with the main 1.56 bt resource outline about 10km long and 2km wide. The GDA ann' on the 19th for E45/3139 tenement refers to regional gravity and magnetic data indicating a significant anomaly extending for 25km of strike length within the application area. see fig 1. There is no apparent scale to compare but the sizes appear to be comparable.( if nothing else).
Some people are sceptical about what might be in the wallal downs tenement but there were probably people sceptical about cape lamberts coastal tenement also at the time before they started exploration and identification of the now indicated and inferred resource.
