    cdchi1, a mine is a mine is a mine as the saying goes.

    If you look at it from the existence and excitement of a mine starting production things don't look so bad.

    The increase in CAPEX is probably the reason why the sp has had a hit of late; it's already been priced in.

    Again I look at things like this.

    August last year gold spiked as the US congress acted like preening idiots and nearly brought the US to a fiscal cliff: the US copped a credit down grading for good measure.

    This will, in all probability, happen again next year but this time there'll be QE3 pressurizing the price of gold.

    Therefore when the US congress tries their cheap political point scoring gold will go ballistic.

    There is every chance that gold stocks will become precious and expensive.

    All this is happening as CRC becomes a gold producer.

    It's not bad news cdchi1, from where I sit. In fact it's a delicious irony.
