Surely yr cost prices (yes total cost buy or sell) will be in your financials which i understand must be kept for 7 years in a smsf and even if older costs will be included in more recent financials.
Maybe i'm wrong but i don't think an accountant will accept your figures regarding yr cost price they will want copies or a record as above. Either that or my accountant doesn't trust me lol. Be careful
