Traders are still entitled to cgt discount on investments held for at least 1 year. however it is a little more tricky, -> intention at the time of the initial purchase, u will need to keep seperate records etc ie if you make a bad trade you aren't able to change your mind decide to hold it for 12 months (hope the market rises) and recieve the discount.
