Thanks for clarifying! I know what you mean its such a headache when theres too many buy and sell transactions haha.
So brokerage fees by reduce, you mean i dont include it as part of the loss or gain?
I.e.
I buy abc share and brokerage is 20$ then sell all abc shares and brokerage is 30$ totalling 50$ in fees. If i made 1000$ gain from share gains does that mean my capital gain is $1000 less 50 = $950? And vice versa with capital loss, If i made $1000 loss from selling, does that mean capital loss is 1050$? (Assuming fees is same as first example)
