Your birthright as an Ozzie does mean alot to the Government... Alot more opportunity to tax you more...
Listen to @aimone he and I are in similar circumstance...apart from me being the Kiwi and the Ex being the Ozzie... I'm already ahead by a quarter of a mill in 12 months since I left Aussie... I suggest to anyone who's able to invest wisely to look elsewhere for residency...(for tax purposes)...why should the government profit from your risk??? Doesn't make sense to support such a policy?
