    I have a parcel of shares bought more than a year ago which are eligible for 50% CGT discount. Now I want trade shares in the same company but don't want to sell the shares held for longer than a year.

    Are we allowed to use contract notes to identify indvidual lots of shares bought and sold for calculating CGT instead of First in First out basis?
