Agree that they (more likely than not) rolled over too easily.
It appeared that they just wanted the problem to disappear.
I thought that they may have been able to offer support to Duma in his defamation case against the AFR/Fairfax Media,
Duma has already won one case, and he is going to win the main one too.
Just waiting for the judge to write her verdict.
Duma may have been eternal grateful for assistance from HZN to receive his substantial payment from Fairfax making progressing PNG assets much easier and certain.
Don't have all the facts, so it is hard to make a definitive judgement.

Of course if PNG never happened, then we are better off now,
