I find it odd that a new company, late on the scene and with no capital is touted as a company with a great new innovation is OK and has a future according to an EDE "sceptic" but EDE, well established, is a loser. Something smells fishy here.
It is more a case of total ignorance on your behalf.
C2CNT was founded by a university research group. They have licenced their technology to a large corporation. It is totally routine in the US. eg Google was originally a Stanford University research project.
In Australia universities basically partner with any small cap company willing to stump up $10K to buy a patent. They even give away these supposedly 'paradigm shifting' 'multi-billion dollar' patents for free in many cases.
