    Handing out free options to shareholders for what? To dilute the share price further when another cap raise will be needed in 12 months. There's no money to hand out to shareholders. That's not rocket science.
    The other issue is a retailer can't just open up an option account the same way you open a normal trading account so how would the average shareholder trade the options? Even if the options were European style option and in the money on expiry, where is the money going to come from to pay them out? The company hasn't got any money.

    Giving free options to shareholders is an insult to the current shareholders and just bashing the SP further in a period where you need new investors buying not running away.

    Nothing is free in this world!
