hang on just reading through the thread, is it because someone rounded the exchange rate on this forum? Exchange hasn't been as low as 1.6 for quite some time. The actual equivalent price is 49.9*1.6274/20 or 4.06 based on data at the time of posting, I hope people didn't take the calculation in the thread as truth without working it out themselves, always DYOR, there will be people on the thread that try and shift the stock price for their own purposes.

On Moderna with the way the trials work the longer we don't hear news about their results the better in theory the outcome should be in terms of efficacy. So that's what's being priced in, that we will basically have 2x the announced vaccines by year end with the US being the fastest to rollout by far. Don't US malls start looking attractive then ...

Its also important to note its not like the companies were waiting for their trials in order to produce the vaccine, since they had pre-orders they already started production a few months ago to be ready as soon as the trial results came out. Now most of that was already worked out by the smart money, but there will still be some that held back not realising that.
