the statement about funding with future cashflow seems…foolish, to say the least.
STA most definitely knew before 4 April that it was going to raise money. No company plans and executes a raise in a day!
but. What’s your loss? Did you buy stock on 4 April in reliance upon that statement? Did you not sell some in reliance upon it? If no, you’ve suffered no loss as a result of that statement, and frankly you might be in a better position as a result of it (if the share price stayed up as a result of it, and the placement was thus at a higher price than it might otherwise have been)
