Well hopefully today is the day we see whats what.
Most reports are that Chandler is seeking 25-40%. I agree with lordolean in that it will possibly be around 0.10 with perhaps future options as well.
On the negative, in the short term, it is a massive dilution for current GNS shareholders.
On the positive, it clears a lot of debt and perhaps opens a way forward for a JV, without which GNS was/is pretty much dead in the water Mill wise.
It may also bring another possible JV to the table in the form of the Chinese/Canadian Sino Forest.
GNSPA and MIS are the big winners here IMO.
In the long term GNS holders are also winners if this results in a JV coming aboard. Sure potential profits may be reduced. But profits are profits and GNS SP would in all likelyhood head north, albeit just not as high as originally hoped for.
Personally I'll take 30-50% of a going concern than 100% of something that is not.
