Take up for Mum and Dad companies has often been quite low. However, I would not put STO in that category. Some investors always fail to take up due to not getting the forms, lack of interest, lack of money, stupidity etc. Prospectus suggests STO will allocate any shares not taken up, so if you apply for more you will get some of them, but obviously no guarantee on how many more.
My entitlement is about 2,000 shares, but was thinking of going for 5,000 shares or perhaps more, just in case I am lucky enough to get all of them.
