Request for Trading Halt – Lynas Corporation Ltd
Lynas Corporation Ltd requests a trading halt for a total of two trading days in respect of
its securities (ASX Code: LYC) to apply from the commencement of trading on
9 November 2012 until the commencement of trading on 13 November 2012, unless
Lynas Corporation Ltd requests that it be lifted before that time.
The trading halt is requested pending the announcement by Lynas Corporation Ltd of a
proposed capital raising.
For the purpose of Listing Rule 17.1, Lynas Corporation Ltd provides the following
information:
(a) the trading halt is necessary to allow the institutional component of the capital
raising to be completed and a bookbuild to be conducted;
(b) the trading halt should remain in place until the earlier of commencement of
trading on 13 November 2012 or when Lynas Corporation Ltd makes an
announcement regarding the outcome of the capital raising; and
(c) Lynas Corporation Ltd is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not
be granted and of any other information necessary to inform the market about the
trading halt.
